About Us
Ziphelele Project Management, Planning & Environmental Consultancy (aka ZiPEC) is multi-disciplinary professional service provider with a focus on the built environment sector. The consultancy was founded in 2009 as opportunities to empower & build capacity for young professionals in the built environment sector emerged. We are a 100% black owned and 100% Youth owned company. ZiPEC was established with a view to partake meaningfully in the processing of redressing the historical imbalances by adopting proper business practices and to encourage young professionals to strengthen their professional skills through hard work and independency.

ZiPEC provides various professional services including, inter alia; development planning, project management, geographic information systems support, environmental impact assessment, environmental management , mining application, development and property research and other.

Siphelelelisiwe Gugulethu Sithole
Principal and Founder
The organisational functions are channelled by Ms Gugulethu Sithole (Founder and Registered Planner) who has in the past years acquired extensive skills in Project Management, Geographic Information System, Development Planning and Environmental Management. She also acquired extensive skills during her service as a member of the Umkhanyakude District Wide Development Planning, during the period of 2012 -13.
Ms Sithole is now a member of the Municipal Tribunal, which was established in terms of Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act (No. 16 of 2013), serving the Umgungundlovu District Municipality.
